My Background

My journey into the transportation industry began over 20 years ago when I started my first business, MGA Administrative Services. We provided Chicagoland transportation companies with payroll, human resources and bookkeeping services. Each of the companies we worked with struggled in the same areas: driver safety, and being a timely and reliable vendor to customers. I focused on creating a company culture that values its employees and provides not only dependable vehicles, but also policies and procedures to ensure the safety of our drivers. Quite simply: we created an environment where employees wanted to work. My clients were able to retain employees in an industry where turnover is traditionally very high and ultimately provide customers with a first-rate and seamless transportation experience.

I founded MGA Medical transportation based on these very principles.

In late 2020, a family member who resides in South Florida was diagnosed with a disease that took away his ability to drive a car and left him in a wheelchair. Aside from the very difficult circumstances involving the diagnosis, one of the biggest hurdles he had to overcome was getting himself to and from his doctor appointments each week. Scheduled trips were frequently cancelled, and if they were not, the driver would arrive late. Family and friends were tasked with providing transportation or appointments were missed. This experience inspired me to apply my expert level understanding of the transportation industry to an area so clearly in need of change.

At MGA Medical Transportation, we excel in patient transportation. Our fleet of new and state of the art wheel-chair accessible vans coupled with our friendly and professional drivers will guarantee you and your loved ones will reach your destination on time and with the care and attention you deserve. Our drivers undergo CPR and First-Aid Certification, Wheelchair Van Safety Training Certification, HIPAA Compliance Training and Disability Sensitivity Training and each of our vans are equipped with modern integrated GPS modules to ensure that all trips are completed on the fastest and safest route possible.
